"Die Wahre Geschichte"

Bei FM Radio gibt es seit vielen Jahren eine Sendereihe, die nennt sich "Die Wahre Geschichte". Dort wird das Leben von berühmten Persönlichkeiten auf eine etwas andere Weise erzählt und am Ende wird immer aufgelöst, von wem gesprochen wurde. Manchmal ist man da echt überrascht, was da so rauskommt und in einer dieser Sendungen wurde auch ein Special über Rory gebracht, bei dem 20$Bill mitwirken durfte:

"You think to know him ? -I will tell you now the true story . My name is Tom O`Neil. Everybody who knew the artist describes him as a friendly and sensible person. His life was characterised by permanent restlessness and movement. It looked like running away of something. Also his brother Donal is of this opinion. Most of his problems were private. Remarkable is the fact that there existed just very few women in his life although he often sang about them. You say that he just had one great love -and no one else. His brother Donal thinks that this was based on his difficulties to make friends. -Since he was a child the artist was crazy about his job and while his friends looked out for girls he trained day and night in order to get better and better. Because of this - so Donal tells - his brother developed a certain behaviour which he never lost. Even Donal - his best friend , manager and coach- says that he only could speculate about the artist`s feelings and thoughts. So fundamental was the wall he had build around his soul. Only this can be the explanation for the fact that no one could stop him when he destroyed himself systematically. Some people speak of two bottles Whiskey per day , others of exzessive missuse of medicaments.
